Galician company Konstrunorest concluded this early morning the constuction of a concrete slab measuring 4.000 square metres and 1,20 metres deep, in 22 hours time, which expects to include in the Guinness records book.

The company informed today in a press release that the work involved 80 workers, who used 400 tons of iron and needed 600 concrete lorries for transporting the 4.200 cubic metres of concrete used.

This piece, considered as a "constructive challenge with no precedents", will be the base of a building and it is situated 15 metres deep in the centre of Porriño, a town in Pontevedra. After cncluding the work with concrete, the polisher men will work today during the whole journey in order to finish this task. The technical reports of this job will be sent to the organization of the Guinness Book, as the company "does not have any evidence of a similar achievement in such a short period of time"
